I had... a very strange dream...

The calendar says that three days have gone by. My left leg buckled when I tried to get up today, and my head feels like I've been hit with a sledgehammer.

Have I been ill?

When I woke, I... I thought...

I thought I could smell lilies...

[The 'Gear comes on to show Marianne's fuzzy red face. She looks worried, at least from the downturn of her dark eyes, before picking up the 'Gear. She brings it to an angle that captures France, who is lying in his bed in the Violet City Pokemon Center, staring listlessly at the ceiling. This is all the 'Gear picks up for a good few minutes before France turns his head slowly to the side, gazing with the same apathetic expression at Marianne and the 'Gear.]

Marianne...

[France sighs and sits up, a hand going briefly to the left side of his head and eyes fluttering as if the movement has made him dizzy. He reaches out and beckons Marianne over. The camera briefly catches France's two adopted Drifblims, Kai and Drifblim, and David hovering around the foot of the bed before it's switched off.]

[France looks over at her with only his eyes, not really there, mostly meandering around in memory and half-dreams.]

Perhaps.

[He sits up slowly, gritting his teeth against the nausea his headache is causing him.]

You were having an nightmare?

It's possible you've been ill, but unlikely.

Are you all right, sir?

I'm a friend of Merlin's - I've seen you around him before, though we've never spoken.. have you woken up without any recollection of the past three days, as well?

Did this...did this happen to everyone?

[Envy is looking groggy, like he just woke up, and somewhat confused. Although somehow when he'd woken up from his own bizarre dreams he'd felt like he had to make sure that France was alright.]

You had those kind of dreams too, huh?

[Greed looks like he might've just rolled out of bed, and he yawns and rubs an eye. He's got a feeling that he needs to be checking on France. And the fact that he'd slept three days too? Well that was just outright suspicious.]

Heh, you had strange dreams too? Hm....th' only thing I c'n remember 'bout mine is that you, me an' crazyhead were on a...dragon, I think. Weird, huh? What happened in yours?

Illness, dream, whatever happened, it happened to us all.

[] I...I was in the water. But I couldn't swim for a moment, and I thought I was going to drown, but then when I got out of the water, something chased me and my friend...

[]

....then my friend just disappeared and it was just chasing me, a-and it wouldn't stop. I...I think it wanted to eat me. []

Are you feeling sick? I-I can get you water o-or coffee or something to eat, would that help?

...Was it a good strange dream, or a bad strange dream?

I'm missing the past three days, too.

[Hesitates] Do you need me to look at the leg for you?

[Canada has come to see his daddy. He's less bothered by the fact that he doesn't remember the last few days than those older than him- frankly, he already believes Sedna is a goddess, nothing really surprises him now. As such, he comes with an offering of slightly burnt bacon and pancakes, made with help from a nurse joy.]

France-papa...? How... How are you feeling?

[France gives her a wholly sympathetic look. He's drowned before and the sensation is horrible.]

I find that the best thing that helps with nightmares is chocolate. There is a bar in my bag's fourth pocket; please help yourself.

[He smiles slightly at the offer for a drink.]

A bit of coffee would be lovely. Thank you.

I thought so, too. It's so cruel, to give us such false hopes...

[First comes a loud sneeze and then a sniffle. China is in his room, lying on his own bed as well. However, it looks as though he's taken out all the spare blankets from the bedroom closet and placed them on his bed. Despite this, he continues to shiver. Ling and Li are acting as hot water bottles for him as they lay beside him curled up.]

I-I d-don't think that it was dream, aru. Even though they tell me that, I won't believe them. I can't remember what happened, but when I woke up I was f-f-freezing, aru.

I think with some rest I will be better. I don't remember anything except... lilies...

What is your name? I'm France.

I think it did; it proves how conniving and evil Hell is. I'll be alright, I think; I just need to rest. How are you? Have you been able to heal?

[France lies on his side and nods shortly at the camera. He offers a wan smile.]

I know something happened but... I don't know what it was. Do you have the same feeling?

A... dragon...?

[He bows his head, resigned.]

In Hell anything is possible.

[He speaks softly, looking sincerely devastated.]

I think I went to Heaven for a little bit...

That a beautiful lady as yourself must suffer is truly tragic.

[He pauses, considering this.]

I think there were bad parts, but there were good parts as well. I'm not entirely sure...

I just... don't understand. I don't think I ate bad mushrooms...

[France sighs and gives Merlin an apologetic look.]

It would be wonderful if you could take a look at it, thank you.

[Canada, his light and joy. France manages to smile sincerely at the attempt to cook, helping himself to the pancakes slowly.]

A little bit better with you here. Are you well?

[He'd woken up mysteriously in Goldenrod without remembering anything but a lot of gory details about the DL-6 case, himself.]
