[Post 009] Video/Text/Action From Violet City

[France is huddled underneath his new comforter, clearly believing that the incoming storm means it's time to be in a continuous state of cold. He looks pleasant enough, though, and Marianne can be spotted stretched out happily on the radiator on the far right of the screen.]

It looks like a big storm in coming in. The locals were really adamant on stocking up their homes for disaster which isn't entirely reassuring.

[He snuggles underneath the comforter a bit more.]

I love winter weather, but this is a little too much even for me. I'm staying inside.

[His expression shifts into a worried one; this is probably the actual reason for this post.]

I hope no one is seriously trying to travel in this...

Well, the so called 'living proof' I have is Lien-Hua herself. Haven't you noticed the scar on her front?

I... haven't been able to look too closely, unfortunately. She was scarred at some point during those three days?

Yes. I know that it wasn't there before those three days. While Cooper and I were talking a few days ago, I slowly began to remember what happened.

What happened?

I was in a place where there was nothing but snow and ice. I thought I was in Russia until this huge yet beautiful, blue bird attacked me and my pokemon.

Li and Ling were hurt and Lien-Hua was the only one left standing. When the bird tried to attack me, Lien-Hua threw herself in front of me and took the blow. I remember she was lying in the snow, with her blood from the gash on her front turning it red.

I somehow found a cave and took shelter there. I made a fire and released all my pokemon so I could further tend to their wounds. Since I used potions on them back in the blizzard, they weren't as bad as they were before.

Lien-Hua's gash, however, continued to ooze blood even though its size had shrunk. I took a needle and thread, and sewed her wound closed.

... I know it sounds crazy, but I just know that's what really happened.

...I'm rather glad that I don't remember what happened to me, if your experience is anything to go by.

So, the scar is the main physical proof that happened?

That, and the fact that I was freezing after those three days, despite how I had taken all the spare blankets out of the closet.

I... suppose that would make a crazy kind of sense. Crazy, but somehow sense.

Yes... Still, there's nothing I can do now that it's gone past us. To be honest, I'm just glad that I was able to remember what really happened.

It's almost funny... Lien-Hua and I are the same now.

Same as in equally beautiful? ;3

Lien-Hua was always beautiful, even as a Magikarp.

Anyway, that wasn't what I was going to say. I was going to say we're the same now because, well, we both have a scar from battle.

Battle scars tell stories, bitter, sweet, or both. I have no doubt that the two of you make exquisite example of beauty together.

I suppose that's true.
