[There's rather self-satisfied laughter just off-screen as the 'Gear comes on. It reveals two Ninetales, both with their tails facing the camera. The giggling follows the camera as it goes around and reveals one very cross-looking Marianne and... a derp-face Marianne?]

Change back, Martin. I'm trying to show you off!

[The derp-face Ninetales makes a very un-Ninetales sound, and, after a shimmer of mysterious light, a very pink, very pleased-looking Ditto appears!]

[France makes a cooing sound before the 'Gear is turned to face him. He looks so pleased with himself.]

Isn't he adorable? He will be a perfect French gentleman in no time!

[Marianne will disagree. France just glows with happiness.]

They're like one big happy family! I can't wait to see their children!

[Thérèse's maybe. Marianne and David look like "over my dead body."]

[Miles' Charmander climbs her way up the boy's shirt, peering over his shoulder curiously. Pess can be seen in the background, giving Marianne a sympathetic look.]

What will you do if they do have eggs, though?

[France sighs dramatically.]

Unfortunately, I cannot keep all of their children, so I will have to do what a breeder does according to the handbook and pass them onto worthy trainers. It breaks my heart, but I must.

[Not that France hasn't already done that once before...]

There are good people here. I was able to find good trainers for Pess' pups, as well.

[France smiles, eyes bright.]

I'm so happy to know that young pokemon here can trust to go to good trainers. I can't stipulate that the person has a regular home, but at least love will nourish the young, innocent souls.

It doesn't matter where you go - if there are people around that make you happy, that's "home", isn't it?

[Miles hasn't had a single permanent location in a while, but he was comfortable because there were people he knew.]

I definitely agree. Home might be a place of solitude, but the soul is most at peace when surrounded by others it can trust. Trust and safety is the key to a good upbringing and to good health.

[France should follow his own advice.]

As much as I can be in this place. I do wish it was my lands, but so would most people.

Maybe out of everything, I miss hearing my language spoken all the time. I can speak it to myself, but it isn't the same.

It's a nice language..

It is the most beautiful and romantic of all languages. Everyone should speak it.

[France does not do humble.]

[It makes him laugh a little. Because it really is nice seeing someone so proud and enthusiastic about something they love - like his father was about his vocation. (Gregory Edgeworth was very, very proud of his job. it's canon. it's adorable)]

Maybe one day, this world would change and we'd be able to.

French is a much more beautiful language than English. It's such a shame so many people have been forced to learn to speak it. Even I have had to learn, if only to make international communication faster.

[Dramatic sigh forever.]

I've spoken English all my life, but because of my new.. [beat] because of some things back home, I've been learning German.

German? Why not French? I can teach you. It's much better for wooing than German.

That's where I live, right now, so I have to learn it or I'll be lost.

I thought you lived in Los Angeles? Was this something that changed recently?

When I was asleep for a week back in January..

I was actually back in my world for a few months, and that's when I moved.

[France blinks, looking surprised before nodding. He's slowly getting used to some of the oddities of this place.]

That must have been quite a culture shock. Germany is very different from the America.

I remembered Johto.. it was difficult to get used to, but it wasn't so bad.

Yes. But remembering what all I did....I wasn't able to speak of it to anyone.
