[Post 024] Video/Action for Goldenrod City

[France's face is that of an extremely pleased person when it appears on the network this time around. Yes, he's clearly gloating over something.]

For Easter, I have received two beautiful and lovely additions! I have named the Charmander "Louis," and the Luvdisc is named "Étienne."

[He shifts the 'Gear to capture two, brand-spanking new baby pokemon of very different types!]

[Étienne makes a cheerful bid to cry out Hello! Hello! Won't you be our friend? You will be my friend. Yes, yes, you will whilst throwing a Captivate or two out. Louis, on the other hand, gives the 'Gear's camera a calculating look, his little flame-tipped tail lashing about behind him.]

[France shifts the camera back to himself, although you can still see the two small pokemon in the background; if you're on the paranoid side, you might get the impression Louis has plans.]

Aren't they just the most adorable pair? The sun really does love to shine upon France.

[France grins cockily and blows a kiss to the screen before turning the feed off.]

Heh, the heart looking one suits you.

[Envy's egg has hatched too, just an hour or so before. France might see a small Tropius (her head barely comes up to Envy's waist) exploring the room in the background.]

[And he definitely noticed that plotting look on Louis.]
The other one looks...ambitious.

[France preens, giving a playful toss of his hair.]

He does! It's only appropriate that someone here should recognize the beauty of my love. And, yes, Louis will become very strong very quickly, I'm quite sure. He's got the right attitude towards protecting love.

[He winks at Envy and blows a kiss before noticing the little Tropius, earning Envy a very curious look.]

Is that your Easter egg?
exeggutorhead: (whut)

...Are you sure it's a 'protecting' attitude?

[Not entirely sure of France's judgment on such matters when it comes to his pokemon. He does look back over his shoulder at the Tropius.] Yeah. Haven't figured out what I'll call her yet.

[On first glance it looks like her leaf-wings are folded, but on second it might become apparent that they are actually tied down with an escape rope around her middle.]

[France just continues grinning happily.]

Of course! He and Marianne already get along splendidly.

[That should be a warning, not a good thing.]

[France peers curiously at the rope but doesn't comment on it. Yet.]

What sort of pokemon is she? I haven't seen anything like her before.
exeggutorhead: (yeah well I guess so)

Right...I'll take your word for it. [Warning duly noted, he already knows that Marianne isn't exactly fond of him and is also crazy.]

She's called a Tropius, I hadn't seen any besides her either. And she's already more trouble than Xerxes was.

[France makes a soft noise of understanding before grinning widely.]

So the rope is to keep her from... What are the leaves for?
exeggutorhead: (not amused)

[personal profile] exeggutorhead 2011-05-02 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
Well she's part Flying-type, so I guess they're...some kind of wings. Maybe.

Either way, she kept trying to use Gust in the room, and I couldn't figure out how else to get her to stop. [Slightly weary look. Threatening hadn't worked either, it had just gotten her to use Gust on him but he's not going to tell France that.]

[France blinks. Leaves that are actually wings. Okay. Well, there are stranger things in Johto.]

[France's expression immediately takes on a bit of heavy amusement.]

Why was she trying to use Gust inside?

[He's got this image of the tornado in The Wizard of Oz now..]
exeggutorhead: (mildly frustrated)

I don't know, first I think she was trying to fight Juliet and Ouroboros at once until they got fed up and went back into their Pokeballs, and then [He's gesturing some now. It's pretty funny looking.] she just started going after the beds and lamp, maybe she was trying to practice or something. I don't know what's wrong with her.

[identity profile] of-france.livejournal.com 2011-05-03 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[France's expression becomes more and more amused until he looks rather like a happy cat.]

I think she might be attempting to find her place in the pack. Either that, or she's hyperactive.
exeggutorhead: (yeah well I guess so)

[personal profile] exeggutorhead 2011-05-03 05:44 am (UTC)(link)
Well it'd be nice if she found her place in the pack with fewer indoor tornados. [So much facepalm.]

[Meanwhile, the little Tropius notices that Envy is Doing Something and makes her way over to sniff at the gear.]

True. Perhaps the rambunctiousness will ease as she gets a bit older.

[France makes a cooing noise and wriggles his fingers at the Tropius.]

So cute!
