[France is nowhere to be seen on screen. In fact, he might not even be in the vicinity of this transmission. No, instead, the network has the very special treat of one newly evolved Politoed, gazing in a glazed manner at the screen, and, near by, the remains of what looks like a Department Store shopping bag. In the background, you can see the room is only lit by the flame of a Charmander's tail, shadows cast about to outline a very smug Ninetales leering at the scene, red eyes glinting in the dim lighting.]

[David moves closer to the screen, the very coiled curl on his head bobbing up and down.]

[And closer still, eyes luminous.]

[Closer, until all you can see are those dilated eyes and that bouncing curl...]

[France just continues smiling. He'll never believe his pokemon having anything but the very best intentions. France blinks before offering an apologetic smile to Cinnamon; he's is so used to having a female Vulpix/Ninetales the gender just came out.]

Cinnamon is definitely a good name for such a handsome young man. Are the two of you taking the gym challenge?

[France makes a soft sound. Aw, he remember when Marianne was that size.]

That's most impressive! Violet and Azalea's badges, right?

Yep and Cinnamon pretty much did most of the work for the Azalea badge.

[If foxes could smirk that's what Cinnamon would be doing right now. Those stupid bugs were no match for him, he thought]

[France grins.]

That's excellent. He's certain to be as good a companion to you as Marianne is to me. 'Can't ask for a more faithful pokemon.

Well he is the second pokémom I got since coming here, I got him from you. Only one who's just as faithful is Wonka.

[A misdreavus appears as her name is heard. Her gems shining brightly.]

[France tilts his head slightly at Wonka.]

Do all Misdreavus have gems like that?

[It's pretty enough to keep France from his usual freak-out over ghosts.]

From what I've seen, yes they all do.

[Let's not mention that the gems are used to collect fear]

[France smiles, expression openly intrigued.]

[He takes a moment to think]

Animal pelts and parts have been used to make clothes since homo sapiens have been around. It's different now, though, since we have many different means of production for clothing and items. There's a divide of sorts concerning use of animal byproducts in clothing.

Oh that goes on where I'm from too. However I only know about black market side of things. Which is probably worse since they sell human parts as well. One of my friends entire tribe was wiped out just for their eyeballs.

Hey, wait a second [Killua turns around to face a stove. He taking a pot with berries boiled in it and straining them over a large bowl. He currently using the goldenrod hotel kitchen to cook up new sweets.]

[France makes a soft noise, nodding, before being distracted by the action on screen.]

What are you making there? It looks pretty involved.

[He takes off another pot this, one filled with boiling sugar.]

My making sweets for my poképops shop.

[France blinks, head tilting slightly.]

[He looks around the background of the screen curiously. It looks somewhat familiar.]

Poképops are lollipops for pokémon. I make more than just those though.

[After setting things down, he look at back into the gear]

I'm in the Goldenrod hotel kitchen.

[France is very obviously interested.]

Are you currently making inventory for shipment or do you have some ready to sell? I'm in the Hotel right now, and I wouldn't mind picking some up for my own pokemon.

I have some ready to sell. This is actually the second batch for today.

[France glances off-screen before turning back, grinning.]

I'll be there in a few minutes.

[He gets up, presumably to put on shoes, and the 'Gear can be seen moving around and then into the hall.]
