[Post 049] Video/Action for Fourth Wall

[It is happening again. It is happening again.]

[Wrong canon. France has never seen The Giant, although he would probably confuse him with Goliath more than anything else. And, characteristically, that would make France return to his roots and completely freak out.]

[Still, it has some relevance here. The 'Gear seems to be picking up flashes of different cities and towns around Johto and Kanto, like someone is teleporting from one to the next without any real goal or direction.]

[After what amount to a few hours of this, the transmission seems to shutter, like the 'Gear has been fumbled, and panting becomes audible as the camera is turned to focus on a very wind-swept France whose expression is a strange combination of badly suppressed tension and far too much excitement.]

Has anyone ever noticed that all the towns around here look exactly the same? They have exactly the same shops and exactly the same standard layouts, just with some superficial topographical variations! I've noticed before, of course, but when you see them all together -

[He makes a wide, wild gesticulating motion with his free hand, unable to communicate how unsettling it is. Sure, France has planned cities, but nowhere is entirely planned like this.]

Also, what is with these crystals? They're all over the place!

[Fuck, he needs new friends. Look at your life, look at your choices, Prussia. (Nevermind the fact that he'd gleefully do the same to France.)

He whirls around, bright red and fuming. He's ready to lay it into France, because goddamnit, worst reunion and worst friend ever. What keeps him from immediately decking the other nation is the nearly hysterical reaction.

France is a nation prone to great emotion, something for every occasion and person. There are layers upon layers upon layers, and then there are times it is stripped bare. It isn't always easy to see what is truly there, and this time...

Underneath the typical hysteria is something he doesn't see very often, especially directed towards him.

He crosses his arms and glares down at the doubled over figure, sounding pissy and put off, though there isn't much heat in his voice.]

I'm fucking disowning your stupid ass.

[He wonders if he's been gone for a long time, even if he has only just seen France the other day. This world feels foggy and clear all at once, like it was only yesterday he had been making his way through Johto with Pokemon he had come to adore Lisbeth doesn't count damnit.

It makes him shift uneasily, so he suddenly grins, all pomp and arrogant smugness as he poses with his fists on his hips.]

Ha HA HA I knew you missed my awesomeness! I guess I'll put up with you now, creepy shit and all!

[Because wow that was creepy.

Typical France. It's probably sad how easily Prussia brushes it off. It certainly says something about the two of them.]

How long has it been since you've been graced with my presence?

[It's said in a haughty manner, as if he doesn't really care what the answer is, only that what matters is that France has been a deprived soul without him.

(Prussia genuinely does want to know, even if he likely won't admit that he cares.)]

[He scoffs loudly.]

You are the definition of creepy. The second entry right after Russia in a dictionary.

[Congrats, you are slightly better than Russia. (Ok for real he vastly prefers France over Russia though.)]

Meh.

[Yup, that's what he has to say for your "loveliness".]

Liar! [France receives the biggest, snottiest smirk in response.] You said you missed me [Not denying he missed him is basically admitting it. Too late, no take backs.] so out with it! I bet you counted the days since this place no longer has the benefit of my awesome presence.

[He's preening now. Look what you've done, France.]

I bet it's lame.

[LAME BECAUSE HE WASN'T HERE.]
