[Post 013] Accidental Video/Action in Goldenrod City
[The video opens up to the glaring, narrowed eyes of Marianne the Demon Fox Ninetales. She makes a snuffling sound of displeasure at the screen before getting up, walking around the 'Gear and picking it up to reveal a very, very large pile of snow not far from the beach of Goldenrod City. You can see a bike on its side with one wheel still spinning to the side of the screen briefly before the 'Gear swings around to - ]
AAAAAAAaaaaAAAAA -
[- a wailing pile of snow?]
[Oh, wait, there are France's legs, sticking out from the left end from the snow pile. Well, there's a sight you don't see everyday. The legs flail about for a bit, kicking at the air uselessly, before, with a particularly loud wail, France's head pops out of the top of the snow. His arms appear next, flailing about like his legs, and then he tumbles out of the icy prison, still sobbing and looking generally pretty traumatized.]
['Gear mets the ground and you see Marianne's underside and tails before her foot lands on the 'Gear, cutting the feed off.]

It depends on how I was hurt and how badly, but, yes, Nation and state reflect each other. Sometimes it's difficult to gauge how much or how little.
Re: [Video]
It is essentially the same for me. War and such reflects on my body. It's rare I'm hurt enough for it to show the other way around.
Re: [Video]

[He makes a vague gesture.]
- Are. No one really knows why or how.
Re: [Video]
Do you have to worry about mortality?
[France chews his bottom lip.]
We don't stay dead unless our countries are wiped out culturally, politically, and socioeconomically.
[He pauses, mulling it over.]
It's hard to explain.
Re: [Video]
I've always assumed so.
[He sighs and looks off to the side.]
Things aren't always very clear in the very beginning. It's really hard to say exactly when one becomes aware of nationhood or if one can exist with or without it. I only know how it ends.
Re: [Video]
It's not a burden. It's simply who I always have been. It's actually strange to...
[He waves a hand vaguely.]
Just be here.
Re: [Video]
Maybe, if a person has known something else before nationhood; I guess they would get to be nostalgic. I don't know any examples of that, though.
Re: [Video]
Not really. More the other way around. I find a lack of land and people lacking.
