[The 'Gear comes on pointing upwards and unfocused. It's safe to say that this is probably Marianne's fault.]

[If you happen to come across France, he's sitting underneath one of the bazillion springs of mistletoe in the Violet City Pokemon Center with his pokemon all gathered around him. Kai, Drifblim, and David all look rather curious, and Marianne looks... distracted by the mistletoe overhead. He had rushed to the counter upon waking because of the sudden appearance of a mystery egg in his bed. It looks something like this:]

[He's now been assured that it is, in fact, his to keep. A small, warm Eevee egg of unknown origins, but France doesn't look like he's about to question it. Actually, quite the opposite. He's got a calm, almost drugged expression on his face, and the Eevee egg is wrapped in a swath of white fleece as he cradles it in his arms. He looks very, very happy and, if you come close or happen to catch the faint sound on the feed, you would hear France singing from the carol Ah! Quel grand mystère! (O! What a great mystery!) to the egg in his arms.]

[France squints at the screen.]

Are you sure you don't have grey hair? Have you checked everywhere?

[China is so insulted!]

O-Of course I've checked, aru! My hair is perfectly black. [He flicks his ponytail as if to show that there was absolutely no grey whatsoever.]

[France sighs, shaking his head.]

That's not everywhere. What of hair in other places? Is all of that black, or has some begun to grey?

[China's face flares red.]

Besides, unlike you Europeans, I prefer to keep my skin smooth, aru.

I wasn't -

[France makes a strange purring sound, a hand coming up to cover his mouth coyly.]

Oh, China!

[Confused China is confused.]

What?! What?! Why are you looking at me like that, aru?!

[All you can hear is high-pitched, gleeful giggling.]

Hee hee hee hee hee -

[China just hides his face in both hands and shakes his head.]

I don't know what's going on anymore, aru!!! What did I say?!

[France makes an obscene stroking gesture.]

So smooth!

[He dissolves into giggles again.]

[With those disturbing gestures, China finally realizes that France hadn't meant what he thought he did and that he had brought this embarrassment upon himself.]

EEEEEEE!!! [He keeps his face in his hands and he can feel tears beginning to prick the corners of his eyes.]

You are so cruel, aru!

[France giggles mercilessly, eyes sparkling with happiness.]

I couldn't resist! Your embarrassment is so beautiful!
